Container dunnage air bag

Dunnage air bag (also known as dunnage bag) is widely used in various forms of transportation, such as container, sea transport, trailer, and train to protect the goods in transit, and avoid collisions, and it has functions of cushioning and collapse prevention. It is especially suitable for preventing collapse of the palletized and containerized goods in the palletized, whole-board, batched, and containerized logistic transportation system. It is adopted extensively by electronics, chemical, mechanical & electrical, medical, agricultural product, logistics, and IT industries.

Dunnage bags have very large effects on reducing the logistics cost and improving the loading & unloading speed, and loading efficiency.

Moreover, dunnage bag is a new green alternative of timber or polyurethane foam sealing agent in international cargo transportation. It is composed by the durable outer bag, highly airtight inner bag, and air valve. It is easy and quick to use, and can be reused.

2. Materials

The outer bag is made of PP (polypropylene) and PE (polythene) coated kraft paper, which is tenacious and firm. The inner bag is made of 5-layer co-extrusion nylon films, which are mainly PA (nylon film).

3. Functions of dunnage bag

① Dunnage bag can effectively prevent the movement of goods in truck, container or railway transportation.

② Reduce the influence of the most common factor on damage of goods. The largest factor of goods damage in transportation is the collision between goods, which causes the damage of packing and thus to damage the goods.

③ It can fully fill the gap between goods, support the weight produced by shaking, absorb shocks, and protect goods from damage in transportation.

Air compressor and inflator gauge, which are easy to buy from local hardware stores. 

7. Reuse of dunnage bag

① For normal use, if the packing (like wooden pallet and case) has sharp corners, corrugated board or other flattened plate can be added on both sides of the dunnage bag to effectively protect the dunnage bag from being punctured.

② Since we can't control user's use of dunnage bags, we can't guarantee their reuse times.

③ If reuse is needed, please attach the label of "For reuse, please don't damage" to remind the receiving party to protect the dunnage bag.
